St Laurentius Parish Church – Baumkirchen
St Laurentius Parish Church is first mentioned in a document dating from 1310. In the 15th century, it was extended and fitted with larger windows. During further renovation work in 1896, an attempt was made to return thoroughly to the Gothic style. Neo-Gothic altars were installed, the old ceiling painting was painted over, the exterior of the church and tower were repainted, and the portal was refurbished.
Above the entrance, the academic painter Franz Fuchs from Hall created a painting of the church’s patron saint.

St Anna’s Church – Baumkirchen
St Anna’s Church on the Kreuzbühel was built around 1650 by Thomas Gapp and other benefactors. The small church’s floor plan bears a striking resemblance to buildings attributed to Dr Hippolyt Guarinoni, the architect of St Charles’ Church. The altar is in the Early Baroque style and is reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance. Although St Anna’s Church served primarily as a place of rest and relaxation, it gained particular significance through the St Anna Brotherhood, founded in 1710. The church is open to visitors.
