Accessibility Statement
Website www.hall-wattens.at
in accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of October 11, 2018, establishing a model accessibility statement in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
Accessibility Statement
The Hall-Wattens Tourism Association endeavors to ensure that its website complies with § 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 26, 2016, on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, December 2, 2016, p. 1).
This statement applies to the website www.hall-wattens.at
Conformance status
This website is partially compliant with Level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” in accordance with the applicable harmonized European standard “European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)” due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
Incompatibility with accessibility standards
Some images are missing alternative text, meaning that this information is not accessible to screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not met.
Disproportionate burden
Our videos are hosted and published on the YouTube video platform. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (recorded audio description) is not met. We believe that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.
The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions
Live videos are not subtitled. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.4 (live captions) is not met. We do not plan to subtitle live videos, as live videos are exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
PDF and Word documents used on the website are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged, so screen reader users cannot access them or can only access them inadequately with structural information. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met. If you require content from one of our PDF or Word documents, please contact us. We will endeavor to provide you with the information in another form.
Our website is designed in accordance with current technical capabilities and standards. If you encounter any problems with individual elements, please let us know.

Enforcement proceedings
If you are not satisfied with the response you receive from the above contact, you can lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman's Office for Accessible Internet and Mobile Applications of the Province of Tyrol. The complaint will be reviewed to determine whether it constitutes a violation of the provisions of Section 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act by organs of the province, municipalities, municipal associations, and self-governing bodies established by provincial law. If the complaint is justified, the ombudsman's office must issue recommendations for action to the province or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
