The Stadtarchäologie Hall in Tyrol museum has been located in the Hasegg Castle since 2008 and is integrated into the tour of the Münze Hall Museum.

Opening hours:

  • April - October: Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday closed)
  • November - March: Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Sunday & Monday closed)
  • Special opening hours/closing days see: Burg Hasegg / Münze Hall

Information

Permanent exhibition and living museum
Medieval and early modern everyday culture. Archaeologists at work with the artifacts. The objects mainly come from excavations in latrines, the garbage disposals of the Middle Ages. Together with the background images, the originals illustrate various areas of daily life about 500 years ago.
