Gallery for contemporary art in a seven-hundred-year-old medieval building in the old town of Hall in Tyrol.

The Old Town Gallery Hall, founded in 1993, impresses in many ways. On one hand, with the unique atmosphere of the medieval building, and on the other hand, with the consistent artistic direction of the exhibition program. The gallery spaces, renovated with great care and sensitivity, extend over three floors. Beautiful old parlors invite you to enjoy art and linger. Here, wood paneling contrasts with lime plaster walls and vaults. The terrace is primarily used for the presentation of sculptures in the open air. Throughout its existence, the dedicated gallery owner Hannes Niederlechner has succeeded in establishing an excellent reputation for representational painting and sculpture. The focus of the exhibitions is on contemporary Austrian art. Graphics, oil paintings, and watercolors include themes such as landscape painting, still life, and nude painting. As a meeting point for collectors and art lovers, the Old Town Gallery Hall will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2018. Guided tours are offered continuously and according to demand.
