Promoting conferences and events in the Hall-Wattens region:
With its blend of historic charm and modern innovation, the Hall-Wattens region offers the ideal setting for high-calibre conferences, meetings and events. To further enhance the region’s appeal as a MICE destination (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions), the Hall-Wattens Regional Tourism Association supports selected events through targeted funding.
Who is eligible for funding?
The funding is aimed at organisers whose projects create lasting added value for the region. In doing so, we focus on quality and close integration with our regional strengths.
An overview of the funding criteria
The decision on whether to provide support is based on a holistic assessment of the event. The following points are particularly important to us:
- Overnight stays generated: We fund projects that have a measurable effect on the local hotel industry and attract guests to the region.
- Publicity value & appeal: What is the event’s media impact? We support events that project a positive image of the Hall-Wattens region to the outside world.
- Alignment with core themes: Does the event suit us? We particularly welcome formats that reflect our key focus areas: experiencing nature, culture, business, cuisine and indulgence, as well as slowing down.
- Innovative potential: We’re looking for fresh ideas! Funding is provided for events that provide new impetus or pursue innovative concepts.
Level of funding
As every event is as unique as the region itself, there are no fixed amounts. The amount of funding is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on fulfilment of the above criteria as well as the scope of the project.
