Alpine shrimp. Hall in Tyrol

Alpenaquafarm, 574 metres above sea level!

The range of fish products stands out for its unbeatable freshness and distinctive flavour. From succulent salmon and tender trout to delicate Alpine prawns, the company offers a diverse range of first-class fish and shellfish delicacies.
In pure Tyrolean spring water, the White Tiger prawns, amongst other things, are farmed without antibiotics or chemical additives to produce a high-quality, regional product.

The Alpine prawn: Quality over quantity

The company’s guiding principle is to rear high-quality prawns without the use of medicines or pesticides. This is only possible if the highest standards are set for water and feed quality. Constant monitoring of all water parameters and a biological filtration system are essential for this. As well as many small details, successful prawn farming requires, above all, care, monitoring and passion.

Sustainability and farm-gate sales

Every Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, you can buy the finest Tyrolean fish products at the Kasernenweg 43 premises in Hall in Tirol. A delivery service is also available.

The top quality of Tyrolean Alpine prawns enhances the menus of local restaurants. Through their sustainable and innovative approach, the two young Tyroleans, Daniel Flock and Markus Schreiner, have succeeded in establishing a regional product on the market that offers an unconventional yet welcome alternative to mass-produced goods from Asia and Latin America. Instead of antibiotics and pesticides, they focus on organic quality and sustainability.
