*Die kommenden Tage* is a German dystopia exploring the future of human society, centred on a family comprising, amongst others, Daniel Brühl, August Diehl and Johanna Wokalek. Director Lars Kraume chose the idyllic Walderalm in the Karwendel Mountains, in the Hall-Wattens region, as the filming location.

“The Coming Days” is a German science fiction film that paints a bleak vision of the future. The story is set in a near-future scenario in which Europe and the world are characterised by resource scarcity, political unrest and social tensions. At the centre of the story are two sisters whose lives are turned upside down by the increasingly unstable world around them. Whilst one sister becomes embroiled in a radical political group, the other tries to protect her family and her love in a world on the brink of collapse. The film intertwines personal stories with global crises and offers a thought-provoking exploration of how political and social changes can affect the lives of individuals.
