Every Thursday at 1:00 PM, guests of the Hall-Wattens region can participate in a hike along the Historical Circular Trail as part of the summer weekly program.
This hike offers a wonderful experience in terms of both historical buildings and sites, as well as the landscape. Together we will discover the 2,500-year-old settlement of Kraort Rätersiedlung Himmelreich and continue our hike past castles, churches, and chapels to beautiful farmsteads with lovely meadows. The panoramic view of Volders, Wattens, and far into the Inn Valley is remarkable.
On Sunday at 09:00 AM we will hike in the Karwendel Nature Park. A shuttle service will take us from the entrance of Halltal to St. Magdalena. Along wild and romantic trails by the Halltal stream, we will hike in Austria's largest nature park, the Karwendel. The hike leads to Issboden, which is known for its diversity of plants, against a breathtaking backdrop. Equipped with Swarovski binoculars, you might also get lucky and spot chamois, ibexes, and golden eagles!
Every Friday at 9:00 AM guests of the Hall-Wattens region can participate in a summit tour on the Glungezer as part of the summer weekly program. From the Tulfein mountain station, this hike takes you through old larch forests first to the Zirben lake and then further up to 2,677 m in elevation. Many stories, legends, and anecdotes surround the "White Glungezer Summit," making the ascent to the summit cross entertaining and exciting. Cheers to the mountains!
On Tuesday at 10:00 AM, there will be a guided hike ENJOYING WILD HERBS WITH ALL SENSES in Tulfes. In search of native flowers and herbs, we will learn a lot of new things about their significance for humans and nature. At a beautifully located snack spot, we will taste fresh farmer's bread with a spread made from the freshly picked herbs. Additionally, there will be many tips and recipes to take home. Simply delicious!
