Easter Festival. Tyrol

The Tyrol Easter Festival, together with its sponsoring association (Galerie St. Barbara — which has been shaping Austrian cultural history for over 50 years), is one of the most important cultural institutions and is the only multidisciplinary festival in western Austria. Featuring artists from all over the world, the Tyrol Easter Festival seeks to explore the desire for peace and the question of how this can be achieved on both a small and a large scale. From Ash Wednesday onwards (across 40 venues) in Hall in Tirol and Innsbruck, the festival brings together early and contemporary music, dance, performance, film, public art projects, as well as emerging, world-renowned and non-European artists.
