Once again, the Hall-Wattens region was the focus of a major television production: "Wages of Labor" is the title of the latest episode in the Tyrol crime series, in which Harald Krassnitzer as Inspector Moritz Eisner is on the trail of crime for the eleventh time. Felix Mitterer was once again responsible for the screenplay, which was inspired by a similar criminal case.
The Tatort crew were guests in Hall in Tirol for around four weeks - and were not only impressed by the unique filming locations, but above all by the perfect support from the host region, as director and Cine-Tirol co-founder Erich Hörtnagl confirms: " Hall has exceeded all our expectations. The support from the tourism association and the town was not only energetic, but above all warm and hospitable." Screenwriter Felix Mitterer was particularly enthusiastic about the variety of motifs: "I am happy to be back here in Hall and am very happy with the choice of location, because there really are a lot of great motifs here."
The region is proud that Hall-Wattens has once again been able to present itself perfectly on film. "We are delighted that we have already been able to handle over 30 film and TV productions in Hall and the entire region. These range from successful Bollywood films to hit series such as "Bulle von Tölz" or the current "Bergdoktor". But also international feature films such as "Sennentuntschi" with the new "Jedermann" Nikolaus Ofczarek, which will soon conquer the domestic cinemas. The current Tatort shoot confirms that the region really is a "TV region"," explains Werner Nuding (Chairman of TVB Hall-Wattens).
About the movie:
The starting point of the crime thriller is the murder of a building contractor who employed illegal workers from Macedonia via a subcontractor, who were deported back home without pay despite having completed their work. Now one of the workers returns to Tyrol with his father in order to get the outstanding money - and is immediately targeted by the investigators.
