A child’s birthday is a very special day – and often has the birthday boy or girl thinking about it for weeks in advance. But as the child’s excitement builds, the stress for parents begins. We at the Tourist Board are here to help. Our guided tours, puzzle games and museum visits guarantee a perfect – and, incidentally, educational – children’s birthday party. Children’s birthday party at the Mining Museum
Whether it’s a children’s birthday party, a carnival celebration or any other occasion – you can throw a brilliant party at the Hall Mining Museum. Don your helmet and lamp and head ‘underground’, where you can ‘get a feel’ for just how tough life once was for the miners in the Hall Valley. If you listen carefully, you’re sure to guess the answer straight away and earn yourself a salty souvenir! Afterwards, hungry miners can enjoy a bite to eat at the Augustiner Bräu (Hotel Goldener Engl), where a little surprise awaits the birthday boy or girl.
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
Price per person: €21.00 (incl. guided tour, gift, refreshments at the Augustiner Bräu, by arrangement)
Minimum charge €210 (10 children)
Number of participants: min. 10 to max. 25 participants, one accompanying adult required
Recommended age: 5 to 12 years
A children’s birthday party as a themed tour
All children’s guided tours can also be organised as children’s birthday parties. The flat-rate fee of EUR 140.00 applies. The party (food, cake) must be organised by the parents or carers.

Please note ...
- ... if a group is unannouncedly late by 15 minutes, the tour will be shortened accordingly or extended for an additional charge of €40.00 per hour or part thereof.
- ... if the guided tour is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a charge of €50.00 will be made.
- ... if the group fails to turn up without prior notice, 100 per cent of the invoice amount will be charged.
