in accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11 October 2018 establishing a model accessibility statement in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

The Hall-Wattens Tourist Board endeavours to ensure that its website complies with Section 76 TGADG of the Tyrolean Equal Treatment and Anti-Discrimination Act implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2 December 2016, p. 1) to make it accessible.

Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, this website is partially compliant with Conformity Level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1’in accordance with the applicable harmonised European standard ‘European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)’.

Some images are missing alternative text, meaning this information is not accessible to screen reader users. This means that WCAG Success Criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content)

Our videos are hosted and published on the YouTube video platform. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. Consequently, WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.5 (Recorded audio description) is not met. We consider that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.

Live videos do not have subtitles. This means that WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.4 (Live subtitles) is not met. We do not plan to provide captions for live videos, as live videos are exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

PDF and Word documents used on the website are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged, meaning that screen reader users cannot access them, or can only access them inadequately, in terms of structural information. If you are not satisfied with the responses received via the contact details provided above, you may lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman’s Office for Accessible Internet and Mobile Applications of the Province of Tyrol. The complaint will be examined to determine whether it concerns a breach of the provisions of Section 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act by bodies of the Province, the municipalities, the municipal associations and the self-governing bodies established by provincial law. If the complaint is justified, the Ombudsman’s Office must issue recommendations for action to the Province or the relevant legal entities and propose measures designed to remedy the identified shortcomings.
