Sagmeister Hofladen

We, Brigitte, Katharina, Mathias, and Josef Sagmeister, operate our farm as a side business. In the modern free-range barn, our 10 dairy cows can move around freely and either eat or enjoy resting in one of the straw-lined lying boxes. From March to October, they have daily access to the pasture around the farm. We market our calves, which are fed whole milk and hay, through a butcher in the neighboring village.

In 2019, we built a poultry barn with free-range conditions. Through the covered outdoor scratching area, the 200 chickens can access the 2000 m² large meadow anytime to scratch and peck. After the laying period, they become soup chickens that we market directly from the farm.
We sell our raw milk and free-range eggs in our farm shop. There are also yogurt products and honey from neighboring agricultural producers. Our farm shop is open 24/7.
