Hallerangerhaus

The Hallerangerhaus is located in the Karwendel Alpine Park and is a base for the long distance hiking trail "Dream Trail Munich / Venice ".

For climbers, hikers, mountain bikers and families there are many beautiful destinations around the hut. After returning home you can relax on the sun terrace and enjoy the delicious dishes. With the construction of the climbing garden, the Hallerangerhaus offers its visitors an additional offer in the middle of the Karwendel and would like to see this refuge accepted as a climbing base by individual climbers as well as groups.

FROM ABSAM TO THE HALLERANGERHAUS

You start at the parking lot at the entrance to the Halltal, from there you follow the direction to Herrenhäuser. In good weather you can turn off onto the Hirschbadsteig just before the manor houses. This trail is easy to walk and you can enjoy nature in peace and quiet. In bad weather you can walk over the manor houses towards Issanger and on to the Lafatscherjoch. From the Lafatscherjoch it takes a good 40 minutes on a beautiful path to the Hallerangerhaus. Hiking time: approx. 4 - 4.5 hours.
