Alpengasthaus St. Magdalena

Hike to the hut: The hike starts at the entrance of the Halltal (parking lot). You can go in or out along the brine hiking trail on the forest path and after about 40 min. turn left onto the escape route and follow it to St. Magdalena. Breathtaking scenery with the steeply rising begging walls on the left and in the distance the walls of the Speckkar. Surrounded by mighty mountains with steep rock faces, one quickly forgets here that the city limits of Innsbruck are only 10 km away.

Walking time: about 1 1/2 hours.
