The history of the inn through the centuries. Guided tour

For a wide variety of reasons, numerous inns sprang up over the course of Hall’s more than 700-year history, and these were always well frequented. Thanks to the harbour, the rights of storage and market trading, the bridge over the Inn, the two annual fairs, etc., Hall enjoyed a clear competitive advantage. Many people – including pilgrims, clergy, envoys and knights seeking military service, as well as craftsmen – required accommodation and meals.
This gave rise to a vibrant and fascinating inn culture that has many stories to tell.
