On this guided tour, you will discover enchanting squares, narrow and winding alleys, tell-tale signs and the most important sights of the largest old town in the Tyrol as the Hasegg Castle with the Tower of the Mint, the upper town square with Hall´s town hall, the Parish Church St. Nicolas and St. Magdalen’s Chapel. Come and hike with us starting in Wattens along the Jakob Gapp path up to Wattenberg:
This famous spiritual way of the cross is commemorating Jakob Gapp, Tyrolean priest in times of National socialism and one of the most famous sons of Wattens, his life and destiny. Passing by partially hundreds of years old farms and chapels, which will be exclusively opened for this special hike, you will easily relax and calm down. Nature and culture in one!

a combination of exercise, meditation and breathing techniques, basic positions and

Let´s walk slowly through fields and meadows and collect wild herbs assisted by a professional herbal educationalist. Together, we will prepare a wonderful fresh spread of local herbs. Simultaneously, we also discover the local flora and fauna and finally taste the self-made herb-spread on homemade bread and drink berry juice. Simply delicious!

3 p.m. CULTURAL RAMBLE IN HALL Hall´s former salt works and port – The River Inn and the importance of shipping. For centuries, salt, silver and shipping represented the strongest pillars of the economy of the prosperous, medieval city of Hall. Let´s walk out of the town and discover historic places like the former salt works, the old port with St. John of Nepomuk´s chapel, the recreation zone Guggerinsel with its fitness-parcours and experience also the
surroundings of Hall. A healthy mind in a healthy body!

This exciting, in-depth guided tour offers a wide range of topics, silver and salt, the white gold and the world´s first thaler. The tour starts at the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, the former „pan house chapel“, and ends in Hall´s Mint Museum with the Tower of the Mint, landmark of the town, offering a fantastic panoramic view of the Inn Valley as well as the Karwendel mountain group. 9.30 a.m. GUIDED HIKE IN GNADENWALD Pasture time in the Karwendel nature park
The winner of the year 2020 among all Austrian nature parks is the Karwendel mountain group! A good occasion to hike, starting in Gnadenwald, up to Walder Alm, mountain pasture and real place of power and spiritual energy in Austria´s biggest nature park. Reaching its high plateau, you will enjoy a fantastic panoramic view over the alps North and South of the Inn Valley. After a brake and tasting delicious Tyrolean delicacies in the mountain hut, we return
via another pasture, Ganalm, or straight to where we started. It depends on your spirit and condition! Let´s walk and talk together!

3 p.m. THEMED TOWN TOUR IN HALL Tourism in the course of time
Founded in the year 1850 as an association of embellishment, the Hall tourist board represents
the oldest of its kind in the Tyrol. Already in the Middle Ages, Hall was known for its baths, during the 20th century the town was even called Solbad Hall, literally salt bath Hall. Guests from all over the world came into the region to take a cure, to hike and go skiing and profit from various occasions to enjoy nature in summer as well as in winter. At any time, Hall and its surroundings were worth travelling.

9 a.m. GUIDED HIKE IN ABSAM Hiking as in the early days – From St. Magdalena to Issboden pasture
At the entrance of the Hall Valley, a shuttle service will bring us to St. Magdalena. Along a wild and romantic path beside the Hall Valley stream, we experience the Karwendel nature park, Austrian winner of the year 2020. Reaching the Issboden pasture, a great diversity of alpine plants will be our reward. Maybe we will also be lucky and see chamois, ibexes and eagles around. With binoculars made by Swarovski, we will at least try!
