Thaurer Castle Festival: *Jedermann*
The Thaurer Schlossspiele are celebrating their 25th anniversary and have chosen a world-famous play to mark this special occasion: “Jedermann” by Hugo von Hofmannsthal. A timeless masterpiece about transience, guilt and life’s big questions, presented in a gripping production.
He has everything money can buy: power, prestige and sheer luxury. But when Death unexpectedly knocks at his door, all his possessions are of no use to “Jedermann” any longer. On his final journey, his friends, money and relatives abandon him – only his good deeds and his faith remain by his side.

Haller Street Theatre Festival “Campiello”
The Haller Gassenspiele are returning to their original format. This year’s stage is an open-air venue at Hasegg Castle, where a real crowd-puller by Peter Turrini will be performed: ‘Campiello’ loosely based on Carlo Goldoni.
A comedy about quarrels and friendship, strong women and the longing for love. Unabashed, wild and, of course, heart-wrenchingly funny, a motivated ensemble of 11 actors and actresses will perform, make music and present newly composed pieces by Ali Sackl. The lighting and stage design are being developed in collaboration with Swoboda&Swoboda, whilst Berta Posch is once again responsible for set and costume design.

Bookmark at Reinischplatz in Hall in Tyrol
Rather than traditional summer theatre, the “LeseZeichen” series of events, organised by the Hall parish, offers open-air readings. At Reinischplatz – which was redesigned last year – south of St Nicholas’ Parish Church, well-known actors and actresses will read texts curated by Martin Sailer. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Hall-based choir “Stimmsalz”.
