Good morning on the Glungezer
In the summer of 2026, you’ll be heading up the Glungezer ‘at the crack of dawn’: from as early as 05:30, you’ll be able to take the gondola up the mountain.

From June onwards, the new tenants at the Bettelwurfhütte, Carol Freisleben and Wolfgang Höß, will be welcoming keen mountaineers. The season began on 3 June 2026 and ends on 4 October 2026, though this may be a week earlier or later depending on the weather. "Brotkäppchen" breakfast café
In just under a year, Iris Schenker has already established herself as a fixture on the Hall breakfast scene. Here, you can spend the whole morning drinking coffee, having brunch, laughing, chatting and watching everyday life in Hall’s old town go by.
The traditional inn "Goldener Engl" on the Unterer Stadtplatz in Hall offers hearty Tyrolean cuisine in its newly renovated premises. Bavarian white sausage has also made it onto the menu.
