From June onwards, the new tenants at the Bettelwurfhütte, Carol Freisleben and Wolfgang Höß, will be welcoming keen mountaineers. The season began on 3 June 2026 and ends on 4 October 2026, though this may be a week earlier or later depending on the weather. Numerous events are planned, such as the traditional Weißwurst breakfast and morning drinks with music.
