Beautiful, easy winter hike through the snowy forest at 1,600 meters above sea level: The hike starts near Gasthof Halsmarter and the middle station of the Glungezer cable car. The tour leads on a beautiful and almost flat path through a wonderful winter forest. Again and again, the hiker is offered impressive views of the Voldertal, the Inntal and the snow-covered Volderberg. Passing spruces, larches and firs, you reach the turning point after about 1.5 km. From there, the same winter hiking trail takes you back to the starting point. On the Glungezer Winterwaldweg, the hiker can expect pristine nature, wonderfully clear air and the prevailing silence is only interrupted by the crunching of the snow and the murmur of a nearby mountain stream.
