The Night Watchman of Hall. Guided tour
As dusk falls over Hall’s old town and the narrow streets are bathed in a mysterious light, a very special journey into the past begins: the guided tour with Hall’s night watchman. Armed with a halberd and a lantern, and dressed in traditional costume, he guides you through winding streets to quiet spots – places where the history of the medieval town is particularly palpable late in the evening. The night watchman recounts his arduous daily routine, shares many a amusing anecdote, and recounts much of the town’s history, bringing life behind the town walls of yesteryear back to life.
