Thaur Forest Playground – This is where the action is!
Summer water fun
The Thaur forest playground is the perfect place for hot summer’s days: the lovely trees provide plenty of natural shade, and there’s also a little stream running through the lower part of the playground. It’s a great spot to build dams and cool your feet.
Right next to it is a brilliant water and mud play area, which is always very popular. Here, you can pump water out of the stream yourself and then dam it up along various routes. Mud fun factor: ten out of ten!
Flying Fox and tube slide: For grown-ups
The upper section of the Thaur playground offers a more adrenaline-fuelled experience: here you’ll find a thrilling Flying Fox and a steep tube slide, which you reach via a suspension bridge.
Swinging fun for everyone
Of course, there are plenty of swings for babies, young children and older children too.
The perfect spot to tuck into a packed lunch: plenty of inviting benches and a cosy picnic area. There are no places to eat in the immediate vicinity, so you really should bring your own food.
