But how did this range come about? “First and foremost, I naturally like the items myself. For example, I make the jewellery myself; the T-shirts are from Weiberwirtschaft in Tyrol; crockery and matching tea towels are from GreenGate in Denmark, for instance; and the colourful stationery comes from Cedon, a Bavarian company whose products are often found in museum shops. I’ve been working well with many of my suppliers for years, but I’m also keen to try new things, such as items from Fussenegger in Vorarlberg, from whom I can offer fun dog cushions, or blankets and cushions. The wicker bags are from a company in Bavaria. “I try not to buy goods from Asia, but to source them nationally or at least from within Europe wherever possible,” emphasises the shop owner, who also attaches great importance to individuality: “I enjoy making beautiful items that are hand-sewn, knitted, embroidered and crocheted.” I also embroider a wide variety of textiles with a text of your choice, such as a soft toy, bottle covers or a key ring.
