Altstadt Gallery. Hall in Tirol

The Altstadt Galerie Hall was founded in 1993 and is situated at Schlossergasse 6. On the one hand, the medieval building impresses with its unique atmosphere; on the other, the gallery is characterised by the consistent artistic focus of its exhibition programme. The gallery spaces extend over three floors and invite art lovers into beautiful, historic rooms. This creates a fascinating contrast between the wood panelling, lime-plastered walls and vaulted ceilings.

The terrace is primarily used for the open-air display of sculptures. Under the dedicated leadership of gallery director Hannes Niederlechner, the gallery has, over the years, gained an outstanding reputation for figurative painting and sculpture. The exhibitions focus on contemporary Austrian art, encompassing prints, oil paintings and watercolours, and exploring themes such as landscape painting, still life and nude painting.

In 2018, the Altstadt Galerie Hall celebrated its 25th anniversary as a major meeting place for collectors and art lovers. Guided tours are offered regularly and on request to give visitors a comprehensive insight.

You can find details of the current exhibitions and opening hours at the Altstadtgalerie Hall directly on their website.
