Moonlight ride. At the Glungezer

There is a special magic to spending balmy summer evenings in the mountains. You can experience two extraordinary natural spectacles during the moonlight rides on the Glungezer: the setting sun gives way to the rising moon.
The moonlight rides are an experience for the whole family. Couples can enjoy the romance of the mountains whilst gazing at the moon or taking part in nature walks. Dogs are also very welcome.

The moonlight tours take place exclusively at the Tulfein mountain station. The Tulfes Theatre Society performs the legends at the Tulfein Chapel. In a romantic atmosphere, illuminated by moonlight and lanterns, you can discover, amongst other things, the thrilling legend of the Glungezer Giant. Short nature walks until dusk also provide entertainment.

Yoga on the mountain and moon-gazing, as well as guided tours of the sun and stars, round off the programme even further.
The Halsmarter Alpine Restaurant and the Tulfeinalm invite you to stop for refreshments during the moonlight trips.
The Glungezerbahn will be operating continuously until 11.00 pm on this evening (last descent). The ticket office is open until 9.00 pm.
