Halltal Taxi Shuttle Service

As the old toll road into the Halltal Valley has been closed to public traffic for safety reasons, a taxi service operates into and out of the valley.
Simply contact one of the taxi companies listed below if you wish to take advantage of this service.
During the sommer months, there is also a regular shuttle service at the weekends.

For the year 2023 our shuttle service is operating always on saturday and sunday starting on the 20st of May until the 1st of October.

HALLTAL VALLEY ENTRANCE - VIA FERRATA ABSAM - S.MAGDALENA

Timetable (two vans - each with 9 seats):
Halltal entrance towards St. Magdalena
8 a.m. - 4 p.m. every hour on the hour

St. Magdalena towards Halltal entrance
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every hour on the hour

There is a station for boarding and alighting at the 2nd "Ladhütte" (via ferrata area).

Fare per route:
5.00 euros per adult
2.50 euros per child

Holders of the Hall-Wattens region treasure map travel for free!
ATTENTION! In case of bad weather (the decision is up to the bus driver) or in the event of a dam, no trips will be made!

The service does not operate in rainy weather due to the risk of mudslides.
