Halltal. Shuttle
If you don't want to walk all the way to Halltal, you can use the shuttle bus or cab service. This is because the former toll road into the Halltal valley is now closed to public vehicle traffic.
The Halltal shuttle bus only runs on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Halltal shuttle runs every Saturday and Sunday from 18 May to 6 October 2024 (except in bad weather).
Please note that the shuttle and cab service is suspended in bad weather for safety reasons. There is a possibility of mudslides.

Travel times of the two 9-man buses:
Halltal entrance towards St. Magdalena
8 - 16 o'clock every hour on the hour (8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 o'clock)
St. Magdalena direction Halltal entrance
9 - 17 hrs every hour on the hour (9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - 17 hrs)
One stop for getting on and off is at the 2nd Ladhütte (via ferrata access area).

5.00 Euro per adult
2.50 Euro per child
Holders of the Hall-Wattens region treasure map travel free of charge!
ATTENTION: In case of bad weather (decision is up to the bus driver) or if the valley is blocked, there are no trips!
The nearest bus stop is "Eichat/Bettelwurfsiedlung". From here it is about 5 minutes uphill to the parking lot at the Halltal entrance.
