The location in Hall in Tirol is one of 48 medical supply stores operated by the family-owned Bandagist Heindl in five federal states. Close cooperation with hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, day care centers, nursing homes, independent doctors, and physiotherapists enables quick responses to current demands in healthcare. “At Bandagist Heindl, state-of-the-art technology is used in the field of medical aids and supply. The employees consistently stay up-to-date through regular participation in conferences and training,” explains Verena Pinter, pointing out the career opportunities at Bandagist Heindl: “Currently, apprentices are being sought for Hall in Tirol and Innsbruck. Also due to the initiative of the company's management, the training to become a medical products salesperson is now offered as a block training program at vocational schools in Linz and Graz, more specifically tailored to the requirements. In addition to training in sales and consulting, basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is also imparted, as well as the relevant medical conditions that are needed, for example, when measuring and fitting prescribed medical aids – such as compression stockings and bandages.
