Not much of the former Haller Ladies’ Convent’s significant art collection has survived on site following its secularisation (1783) – it is therefore all the more of a stroke of luck that the building situated in the convent garden – comprising a large ballroom, the Magdalenasaal, along with intimate adjoining rooms – has survived relatively unscathed for over three centuries, with its original frescoes still intact.
