Guided tour of the ‘Silver Town’. In Schwaz

It was thanks to silver mining that the town of Schwaz developed into an important centre in the Middle Ages.

Local guides will take you through the narrow streets and hidden corners of the ‘Silver Town’, leading you to secret spots and bringing the past to life in the truest sense of the word. There are quite a few hidden spots in Schwaz’s old town. Until recently, these special places remained hidden from the public. They are opening their doors exclusively for this occasion and form the highlights of the newly designed guided tour. The roof truss of the Parish Church of the Assumption is just one of a total of ten must-see stops on this guided tour.
