A tour of the workshop of violin maker Posch.

Following in the footsteps of Jakob Stainer – the “father of the German violin” – the art of violin-making is carried on today by violin maker Posch in Hall. The maestro can usually be found at work in his studio at Schlossergasse 7 and is always delighted to welcome interested visitors.

The guided tour of the Posch violin-making workshop is organised by the Hall-Wattens Tourist Board

  • Duration: approx. 1 hour
  • Bookable for groups
  • Max. 20 people can take part
