Staying at Apart Grubertal with Carina and Michael
Holidays in the Tyrolean mountains. Whatever the season, the Klingenschmid family’s apartment complex in the idyllic Grubertal valley, on the Großvolderberg, offers those seeking relaxation a place to settle in, take a deep breath and unwind. Carina and Michael have been welcoming guests to their newly built apartments since spring 2021. Furnished in a traditional yet modern style with great attention to detail, the two holiday flats are situated high above the village of Volders.

Visiting the Grubertalers
For some, Michael is no stranger. People know him from the band “Die Grubertaler”. Together with his brother Florian and his second cousin Reinhard, he has been taking the stages and charts of the Schlager scene by storm for decades. It was here, in the Grubertal, that the three passionate musicians grew up. Even today, they still have strong ties to their home, the Grubertal.
Michael isn’t just a professional musician; for just under a year now, he’s also been a host and supports his wife Carina wherever and whenever he can. Carina, who grew up in the Zillertal herself, has a background in the hotel and hospitality industry. Hospitality is definitely in her blood. With her warm manner and friendly nature, Carina not only looks after their three children, but also the house and the guests. Whenever Michael is at home, he always has time for a natter with the guests. The couple’s hospitality skills certainly deserve three golden holiday records.

Apart Grubertal: A five-star holiday
The interiors of the flats are equally impressive across the board. High-quality, elegant fittings and plenty of wooden features create a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Here, too, we award 3 golden holiday records.
The view and the panoramic vista of the surrounding mountains, the Inn Valley and the natural landscape of the Grubertal have been awarded a further three ‘Golden Holiday Records’. All of this can be enjoyed in comfort from the sun terrace or in the garden belonging to the flat.

Pure nature in the Grubertal valley
In our opinion, the flat’s location, as well as the Grubertal valley and the associated winter and summer leisure activities available in the immediate vicinity, deserve a further 3 ‘golden holiday records’:

Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy at Apart Grubertal. In summer, you can hike to alpine pastures and the peaks of the Tyrolean mountains directly from your holiday flat. Mountain biking or e-bike adventures also start right on your doorstep. Culture lovers will also benefit from the holiday flats’ location. The towns of Hall in Tirol, Innsbruck and Schwaz are just a few minutes’ drive away.
Not far from the holiday flat is the Vögelsberg small ski lift . Here, in winter, beginners and those returning to the sport will find the perfect slope for practising their turns. As well as a T-bar lift, the small ski lift complex also features a magic carpet. The nearest ski resort is at Glungezer, about 10 kilometres from the holiday flat. With its family-friendly, cosy atmosphere and a stunning view of the Inn Valley, this ski resort – spanning 23 kilometres of slopes – is sure to impress. On a winter holiday at Apart Grubertal, you can toboggan down the Volderberg toboggan run ‘almost’ right up to the holiday flat. Ski tourers and snowshoe hikers will enjoy the apartment block’s perfect, nature-filled location.
