Healthcare in Hall through the centuries
The walk takes us from the Upper Town Square via the Langer Graben, the former town hospital and the Schweighoferstiege, past the Guarinoni House, across the Stiftsplatz and into the Stiftsgarten, where the tour ends at the fountain house. The tour focuses on Hall’s bathhouses and bath attendants, the first qualified doctors and the early days of pharmacy, as well as the development of social services, healthcare and care for the elderly. It also covers Hall’s modern facilities, such as the district hospital, the UMIT and the PKH.
The tour is organised by the Hall-Wattens Regional Tourist Board

- ... if a group is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the tour will be shortened accordingly or extended for an additional charge of €50.00 per hour or part thereof.
- ... If the tour is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a charge of €50.00 will be applied.
- ... If the group fails to turn up without prior notice, 100 per cent of the invoice amount will be charged.
