Hall-Wattens Tourism Region: Five businesses honoured with the ‘Bewusst Tirol’ award

The ‘Bewusst Tirol’ project (Agrarmarketing Tirol) sustainably links agriculture, tourism and the food retail sector, thereby strengthening regional value creation. In 2025, 278 businesses across Tyrol received the award – all of which use regional ingredients in their kitchens.

‘Tyrol on your plate’ boosts our regional value creation. Regionality and seasonality mean production in harmony with nature, well-maintained cultural landscapes, the very best quality and short transport routes. Regional delicacies offer double the enjoyment – for our guests and for our agricultural sector,” emphasises Deputy Governor Josef Geisler.

At the awards ceremony organised by Agrarmarketing Tirol in autumn 2025, five businesses from the Hall-Wattens tourism region were honoured with the award. This recognises their commitment to putting regionality into practice and the conscious use of local produce in their kitchens.

The following were honoured:
• Daniels Kristallwelten in Wattens
• The Reschenhof in Mils
• Gasthof Ebner in Absam
• Hinterhornalm in Gnadenwald
• Parkhotel Hall in Hall in Tirol
