Baggersee. Innsbruck

A nature park with all the comforts you’d expect, as it offers everything you need for a perfect day at the lake: spacious changing rooms and toilet facilities, a wide range of leisure and sports facilities including beach volleyball, badminton, streetball, a boccia court, a chess board, table tennis, mini-golf and, for those looking for something to eat, two restaurants. The lake features a swimming jetty and a bathing island, whilst grassy and pebble beaches line the shores. There is a separate paddling area for the little ones, a water slide and a playground with swings, a play tower, a slackline and a water play hill with a stream. Of course, paddling in an inflatable boat is also permitted. In autumn, you can surf to your heart’s content here.

In summer, the water warms up to 24 degrees – just right for a gentle dip. Outside the bathing season, other visitors take over the lake area and make this popular Innsbruck recreational spot their home: large waterbirds such as swans and cormorants.
