Conformity status with the requirements
This website partially complies with Conformity Level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1’ or the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (August 2018) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Inaccessible content
The content listed below is inaccessible for the following reasons

(a) Incompatibility with accessibility standards
Some recorded videos lack captions, meaning that the spoken content is not accessible to deaf users. This means that WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.2 (captioned recordings) is not met.
New videos will be captioned as soon as they are published.
Search results are displayed dynamically on the same page where the search was initiated. This means that, for example, the page title and the page position indicator remain unchanged. The following issues are known: The keyboard focus is not on the search results area after the search has been submitted. Screen reader users do not receive information about changes to the content of the webpage being visited. The search results area cannot be accessed directly via the keyboard. It is not possible, for example, to use the skip-to-content link (access key 1) (WCAG 2.4.1 Skip Blocks). In the page navigation for scrolling between search results pages, links to the last page or the first page cannot be focused using the keyboard (Tab key) (WCAG 2.4.1 Keyboard and 2.4.3 Focus Order).

b) Undue burden
Our videos are hosted and published on the YouTube video platform. For some of these videos, the required audio descriptions cannot be provided. This means that WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.5 (recorded audio description) is not met. We consider that rectifying this would constitute a disproportionate burden in relation to the accessibility standards.

c) The content falls outside the scope of the regulations
Many PDF and Office documents, most of which are older, are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, or are tagged inadequately, meaning they cannot be recognised and used by screen readers. This means that WCAG Success Criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) is not met.
Please let us know if you are having difficulty with any specific documents. Upon request, we will make the content accessible and then replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. For new documents, we undertake to make them accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and to ensure they are PDF/UA-compliant before publication.

The website www.hall-wattens.at was completely revamped in October 2019.
The Hall-Wattens Tourist Board’s web team is committed to making its website as accessible as possible. Since 2008, we have been following the WCAG 2.0 guidelines for accessible content, in accordance with the national “E-Government Act 2004” and the applicable anti-discrimination regulations.

Complaints procedure
If the responses received via the above contact channels are unsatisfactory, a complaint may be lodged with the Ombudsman’s Office for Accessibility and Mobile Applications of the Province of Tyrol. The complaint will then be examined to determine whether there has been a breach of the provisions of Section 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act by bodies of the Province, the municipalities, the municipal associations and the self-governing bodies established under provincial law. If the complaint is justified, the Ombudsman’s Office must issue recommendations for action to the Province or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the relevant shortcomings.
