Starting at the Lager Walchen, shortly after the barrier, you turn left onto a forest path. This leads us through forest and along alpine meadows to the Innerlanalm. After the Innerlanalm we hike through a beautiful and mystic pine forest along the Lizumer Zirmweg. Now it's time to close your eyes and "overcome" the short walk through the army buildings before continuing on to the Lizumer hut. From here you follow the path to Lizumer Kar and further up to the Geiermulde. A short, last upswing and you can enjoy the great panorama at the summit with its vulture instead of a cross.

Descent like ascent or an overnight stay in the Lizumer hut and the next day, for example, via the Mölssee back to the Lager Walchen.
