Course route: The connection route to the Bogner Aste leads past the castle ruins of Thaurer Schloss. The route heads past the Romedius Church to Thaur. Then the route runs along the beautiful and popular Adolf Pichler Trail above Absam in the direction of Halltal Valley. The route then continues toward Besinnungsweg (Reflection Trail) to the Bogner Aste. The starting point there offers more running and Nordic walking routes that make the heart of any sports enthusiast beat a little faster.

Course route: The route to the Thaurer Alm twists in serpentines through the forest on a constant uphill gradient. Only at the end is a steep climb that needs to be overcome. But once you reach the Thaurer Alm your perseverance will be rewarded by amazing views over the Inntal Valley, the Kaiser’s Column, the Glungezer and the Patscherkofel.

Route profile: Suitable for those with stamina, the route travels along beautiful forest and meadow trails to the village of Thaur with a steep climb up to the Romedius Church.
Course route: The circuit designed for fit runners and Nordic walkers initially heads toward Canisiusbründl along beautiful forest and meadow trails and across fields to Thaur. Once you reach Thaur, you take the attractive but steep route through the meadows above the village to the Romedius Church and continue on to the ruins of the once mighty castle known as Schloss Thaur. From there you can head back to the starting point.
