Zirbenweg am Glungezer (22)

Guided hike in Tulfes

Summit tour on the Glungezer

Every Friday at 9 a.m., guests of the Hall-Wattens region can take part in a summit tour in Tulfes as part of the weekly summer programme.

With the Glungezer cable car we move up from Tulfes to the Tulfeinalm mountain station. From there, the hike leads through old stone pine stands to Zirbensee and Zirbenweg.
There are many stories, legends and anecdotes about the so-called white mountain Glungezer (2677m), which makes the way to the summit entertaining. With one of the oldest stone pine stands in Europe, the Tux Alps are a unique natural jewel!
