Cultural ramble in Hall: shipping on the river Inn

The River Inn and the importance of shipping

Every Friday at 2 p.m. (December-March) or 4 p.m. (May-October), guests of the Hall-Wattens region can take part in a cultural walk as part of the weekly holiday programme.

For centuries, salt, silver and shipping represented the strongest pillars of the economy of the burgeoning medieval town of Hall. Let´s get out of the city and discover historic
places like the former salt works and the old port and experience the surroundings of Hall on a light walk. The patron saint of bridges, Saint John Nepomuk, will accompany
us on our way!

Time: 2 p.m. winter or 4 p.m. summer
Duration: about 1,5 hours
Meeting point: Hall tourist board, Unterer Stadtplatz 19
