Cheers to Hall. Guided tour of Hall's inn culture

For a variety of reasons, numerous inns were built during Hall's 700-year history, which were always busy. Hall had a clear competitive advantage thanks to the harbor, the right to settle and hold markets, the Inn bridge, the two fairs, etc. Numerous people such as pilgrims, clergymen, envoys and knights in search of military service as well as craftsmen needed accommodation and food.
This led to the development of a lively and exciting tavern culture, which has a lot to tell.

Austriaguide Katharina Nagy has taken an in-depth look at the centuries-old tradition of inns and taverns in Hall and created a captivating tour through Hall's charming alleyways. This new walk takes you through Tyrol's largest old town and provides an insight into the fascinating history of its inns, offering anecdotes and interesting facts about food and drink. Cheers, cheers!
