Breathtaking views and mountain panoramas remain in the memory: The new viewing and wildlife observation station "Adlerblick 1522" in Gnadenwald in the Karwendel Nature Park promises special mountain impressions.

Located in the immediate vicinity of the idyllic Hinterhornalm at 1522 meters above sea level high above the Inn Valley, the summit panorama with views of the two- and three-thousand-meter peaks of the Tux and Stubai Alps, the lovely Inn Valley and the rocky Karwendel Mountains captivates the visitor. An ST Vista telescope from Swarovski Optik ensures perfect distant vision.

But not only the impressive alpine massif can be marveled at on the platform: In the middle of the Karwendel Nature Park, home to 96 breeding bird species, with a little luck you can observe numerous wild birds in their natural habitat, from the alpine chough to the mountain pipit, black grouse, crag martin, peregrine falcon and majestic golden eagle.

Emperor Maximilian already praised the Karwendel as a good chamois hunting ground. Also at present there are good chances to observe this fascinating wild animal species in the wild. Thus, from the "Adlerblick 1522" in the vacation region Hall-Wattens you can experience the chamois in the rock walls below the striking Hundkopf (2,243 m), depending on the season, during the spectacular chamois rut or in the common nurseries of the chamois offspring.

The "Adlerblick 1522" is easily accessible via the toll road to the Hinterhornalm, but above all via numerous hiking trails and the Drei-Almen-Karwendelroute for mountain bikers. The special enjoyment of nature is completed by excellent culinary delights at the Hinterhornalm and the nearby Walderalm.
