The first part of Salzlager Hall (Hall Salt Warehouse) dates from 1822. By 1870, the warehouse site had been extended a number of times to store up to 3,400 tonnes of salt from Hall's salt mines. The boiling and salt processing areas were in use until the 1960s, when salt mining was finally discontinued. Between the years of 1995 and 97, the Salzlager was adapted into an events centre by Hanno Schlögel, but on the condition that the character of the historic industrial site be maintained.
The heart of the Salzlager is the imposing pillared hall with 15 strong, 9-metre high round columns made from breccia. It offers space for events requiring everything from stylish elegance to a cool modernity. Today, the Salzlager offers all-in-one facilities for events for up to 1,500 persons.
The Salzlager has a number of unique qualities, making it suitable for a wide variety of uses, whether at day-time or night-time. Two small halls and many side rooms are available for back-office, catering etc.

The Kurhaus, situated at northern entrance to the beautiful Old Town area of Hall, was built in the 1930s, based on plans by the architect Hans Illmer. It offered locals as well as visitors a wide range of spa facilities, particularly those involving salt baths. In 1979, the reconstructed Kurhaus was re-opened as an event centre under the management of Innsbruck architect Hans Loch. The functionally-modern interior of the Kurhaus permits a wide range of design options. Individual room partition and flexible technical equipment make the Kurhaus an architecturally delightful backdrop for events of all types with up to 600 guests.
Two wide staircases lead from the foyer with its marble pillars up to the gallery on the first floor. There are two additional rooms and the bar area.

The present-day site of Burg Hasegg (Hasegg Castle) was mentioned in documents as early as 1250, when it formed part of the salt refining process for Hall's salt mines. Built in the mid-15th century and virtually fully preserved until today, it was in this castle with its imposing Mint Tower that the coinage rights granted to Hall were exercised until the year 1809.
After careful renovation work, Burg Hasegg now has halls and rooms with a medieval ambience, suitable for events for 30 to 200 persons. Parties and celebrations are held beneath Hall's famous Mint Tower landmark. The Beheimsaal, Fürstenzimmer, Galerie und Georgskapelle halls are accessible from the castle courtyard.

The new KiWi cultural and event centre at Dorfstrasse 57 is Absam's latest pride and joy. The KiWi can offer the perfect setting for a successful event in Tyrol, i.e. conferences, concerts, corporate events, balls, meetings, symposiums or parties.
The latest technology and design features successfully make the transition between a listed building and contemporary architecture.
